The Blue Angels were back in Atlanta for 2010, and brought the Canadian Snowbirds team with them. Great show, weather couldn't have been better, sunny, nearly cloudless, and temperatures topping out in the high 70's. The static display was more extensive than years past, some really rare WWII warbirds on display. Funny how you don't get a true sense of scale from photos. This was the first time I had ever experienced the Snowbirds, nine planes in some tight and unique formations. They use slower planes, so it's less about high speed passes, and more about tight, precision flying.
The Angels put on a great show, as always, it was Sheila's first time seeing them. She's now seen both the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels. Hard to say which she enjoyed more.
