Another great Petit for 2008, one for the history books. Longest race in 11 years, and after 1000 miles, the win was decided by 4 seconds. It went right down to the wire, and Audi's McNish did a great job of fending off the Peugeot. Not sure if it was the best attended, but I didn't see the usual exodus as the sun went down, seemed like most people were hanging in till the very end to see how it turned out.

Oh, and the driver's parade this year...I got the Grand Marshall, John Hensley, from Nip/Tuck. Since they loaded him into the car way ahead of schedule, I got to have a nice 30 minute conversation with him. Nice guy, and I have to respect him for his bravery, since he has done the Schwantz school at Road Atlanta.
